How to get care?

Under the direction of medical director Carol Ziegler, patients are seen and treated at the Meharry Family Practice Center in Nashville. Patients may call 615-327-6661 to make an appointment. ARTDOCS covers the cost of physician services and routine labs and x-rays. When contacting the clinic, you must identify yourself as an ARTDOCS patient over the phone to insure that you see one of our participating physicians. At the time of the visit, you will be asked to sign a financial waiver indicating your eligibility for the program (see attachment). If your physician suggests and schedules a follow-up visit, you need not call our main number again. If, however, in the future, you develop another medical problem, it will be necessary to call us again at 615-327-6661. This scheduling system is in place due to the limited number of patients that we can serve per week.

What is covered at your visit?

No prescription coverage is included and more expensive tests (MRIs, hospitalizations et) are not services that ARTDOCS is able to cover.  ARTDOCS is able to refer you to the Charity healthcare system at reduced rates. Such referrals are coordinated only through your ARTDOCS family physician.
